About Jérôme Jacob, Founder of Cyber|Eon

A recognized expert in cybersecurity, Jérôme Jacob brings a dual expertise from both the military and scientific fields. He is a graduate of the École spéciale militaire de Saint-Cyr and the École de Guerre, and holds a PhD in Scientific and Technical Information. His career has led him to oversee the cybersecurity of the European Parliament’s data center and to share his expertise with governmental institutions, including the Luxembourg LHC Agency.

An innovator in cyber crisis management, he is the creator of ROOM#42, Europe’s first immersive cyberattack simulator, which has been recognized for its impact on training and strengthening organizational resilience against digital threats. Leveraging this expertise, he founded CyberEon, a company specializing in cyber crisis exercises, awareness training, and supporting businesses—notably in achieving compliance with NIS2 and DORA regulations.

Jérôme Jacob is certified by internationally recognized cybersecurity credentials, including CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), ISO 27005 Lead Implementor, and CHFI (Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator), demonstrating his expertise in risk management, security governance, and digital forensics.

With CyberEon, he aims to establish cyber crisis management as a proactive strategic discipline, where anticipation and innovation drive the solutions provided to businesses and institutions.
